About

Hello! My name is Jacqueline King and I’m a native Angeleno, actress, model, yogini and cooking enthusiast. While traveling the globe for work everywhere from Milan to Tokyo, Monaco to Thailand I’ve found the best times in life are truly the simplest. Nothing beats dining with family or friends on food made with only the freshest local ingredients. With help, I’m planning a backyard farm in Beverly Hills with an edible garden, citrus and fruit trees, and chickens for laying eggs. I hope Beverly Hills Farms will be a resource for those who believe happiness does not come from owning 27 handbags, who believe the “good life” involves plenty of fresh, delicious food and drink, good health, greener living, and lots of love, first for ourselves then radiating outward. That may sound sappy but I mean it. I really do. Xo, Jacq

Hi Jacquelynn, noce blog you have! Thanks for stopping by mine and give me the opportunity to find yours :) ! Absolute nice plan you have to have your own farm with fruit and vegetables. Grown in your own garden is definitely the best!! Good luck with it all! Letizia

My sentiments exactly! ;) I saw you are in Ontario. I’m going to Muskoka next week on holiday and I can’t wait! It really is God’s country up there, so peaceful and lush…

      HI Jacqueline
Thank you for reading and liking my blog. I love the purpose of yours and agree with you about life.
And you are right….I am lucky to live in Muskoka; it is God’s country and I consider myself truly blessed to be here, in every season including winter. You certainly picked a great time to visit – we had an exceptional summer for visitors….unfortunately the lack of rain did effect many of the trees and we may have lost some to drought.
I will enjoy reading your blog posts…..
      Wendie
